Parenting is hard. You don’t have to do it alone.
I help parents in Chicago who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck find joy, confidence, and connection again—both with their child and with themselves.
Who I Help & Why
You’re doing your best, but some days it feels like your patience is gone before breakfast. You want to be calm and present with your child—but instead you find yourself snapping, withdrawing, or feeling guilty afterward.
Maybe you’re navigating big changes: a toddler’s tantrums, a child’s anxiety, a teenager’s pushback. Or maybe you’re noticing your own childhood experiences shaping the way you parent, and you’re not sure how to break the cycle.
Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
How Therapy Helps
In our work together, you’ll learn how to:
Stay grounded when your child pushes your buttons
Set boundaries without shame or guilt
Heal from the patterns and wounds you don’t want to pass down
Build more joy, laughter, and connection into your family life
This is not about becoming a “perfect” parent—it’s about feeling confident, present, and connected.
Need a little more?
In addition to therapy, I offer optional parent coaching and home visit observations. Coaching gives you practical tools for the challenges of parenting, while home visits allow me to observe real-life moments like mealtimes or bedtime routines and support you right where the difficulties happen.
Parenting is incredibly complex and challenging. I’m here to support you, every step of the way.

About Me
Hi, I’m Ella. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in relational, psychodynamic therapy, and child-led play therapy. I started my career working directly with children, and quickly saw how much parents needed support, too.
My approach is candid, collaborative, and deeply respectful—you’re the expert on yourself and your family, I’m here to help you find the tools and insight to make parenting feel less overwhelming and more fulfilling.
You deserve support, too.
If you’ve been trying to hold it all together while feeling burned out, frustrated, or alone, it’s time for you to be supported by someone, too.
I meet parents where it’s easiest for them—virtually, in my Chicago Loop office, or through home visits in neighborhoods like West Loop, South Loop, River North, and Streeterville. Schedule a session today.
